Broken factory seal (for hard drives/HDD) data recovery pricing

If the hard drive has previously been entrusted to another company and the recovery of the data has failed, Stellar®’s help is often requested afterwards. You can tell by the broken factory seal that the hard drive has been opened.

Because the hard disk has unfortunately been opened and manipulated, data recovery is more difficult for our engineers. Therefore, if the factory seal has been broken, we charge an additional € 148.76 excl. VAT (€ 180 incl. VAT) on the diagnosis costs.
